‘SEE ME’ APPOINTS THE LEITH AGENCY
TO TAKE CAMPAIGN INTO NEW PHASE
‘see me’, the national campaign to end stigma and discrimination around mental ill-health, has appointed The Leith Agency to handle its national marketing and communications, marking a new chapter for the campaign.
The Leith Agency were appointed following a five-way pitch, and will offer the full marketing mix with sister consultancies Stripe Communications and Blonde Digital.
The three agencies will work closely with the ‘see me’ in-house team to deliver a fully integrated campaign aimed at challenging the discrimination and stigma associated with mental ill-health.
Brian Coane, Account Director, The Leith Agency, comments: “When we were asked to present our ideas on how we could take the ‘see me’ campaign to the next level, we had a great response from people keen to work on the project, which only demonstrates how close to our hearts the subject is and how almost all of us, at some point, have been affected by mental health problems. This enabled us to really connect with ‘see me’ and we can’t wait to get started.
“Our challenge is to develop a highly successful integrated campaign that moves ‘see me’ forward, yet retains its focus on the real lives of the 1 in 4 of us who'll experience mental ill-health.”
Suzie Vestri, Campaign Director for ‘see me’, comments: “The next two years is a very exciting phase for ‘see me’ so it was vital that we work with an agency that not only recognises the importance of the next chapter, but can also take the campaign in a fresh, new direction. The Leith Agency demonstrated a high level of creativity, savvy and enthusiasm, not to mention great vision. We’d like to thank our previous agency, The Gate, for helping to get us to where we are to today, but look forward to refreshing our activity with The Leith Agency.”
