“Beyond Prejudice” DVD Launched
'see me', in partnership with VOX and GAMH, launched a new and exciting mental health and stigma DVD in June 2011. “Beyond Prejudice – mental health stigma and recovery among black and minority ethnic communities in Scotland" explores mental health issues in BME communities with members of BME communities voicing their personal experiences of stigma, racism and attitudes of family and communities.
It also explores the way some people have overcome their mental health issues, whether through support, community activities or medication. The DVD is available for download on our website.
